THORNBIRD - Vikki from the Waifs

After 28 years of singing & touring as one third of ‘The Waifs’,Vikki Thorn (aka ‘ThornBird’) returns home to find her own voice in the wild places of WA.

Known for her evocative song writing includingBridalTrain, Sun Dirt Water & TakeMe toTown, her new solo material was born out of 10 years of living in the canyons of Utah.
In these songs she explores the recurring theme of home & connection to place, & portrays the humour and heartbreak of life just south of Hell’s Backbone.
Vikki Thorn’s voice can swing & roll or radiate the intimate warmth of the morning’s firstcuppa inviting you to sit at the kitchen table while she sings about life in the wild places.

With their critically acclaimed album Modern Pressure dropping at the end of 2019 The Delta Riggs touring plans were cut short due to an International Pandemic. During this period half of the band transformed into studio musicians providing the rhythm section for the new All Day & Hayley Mary albums.
Do not miss one of Australia's finest live acts in full swing this August. In an age that's lapse of meaning, The Delta Riggs provide a much needed 'real experience.'

In 2020 Seth Sentry embarked on a weekly challenge. To get fans to submit beats, which he whipped up into short songs, and then dropped every Sunday on YouTube, like clockwork!
Super Cool Tree House became a weekly staple for Seth’s fans in 2020. Waking up every Sunday, we were treated to a recap of the week and a certain take on the world that only Seth could give us. This might have included current events from around the world or just some weird shit that Seth was pondering at the time, and everything in between.

It's been 2 years since DZ Deathrays released Positive Rising: Pt 1; the first installment of their 2-part album. The second half was initially set for release in 2020, but in a somewhat fitting series of events, the world plunged into pandemic. With a moodier tone than its predecessor, Positive Rising: Part 2 draws the outline of an apocalyptic scene, one that sees the band – Shane Parsons, Simon Ridley and Lachlan Ewbank – stepping outside of themselves, seeking out new perspectives and surveying the world from above. From up there, they don't always like what they see, but Positive Rising: Part 2 offers a somewhat hopeful ending. Expect scenes of high energy, chaos, light shows, heavy riffs and a party like only DZ Deathrays know how to throw.
